About

Snakebird

A three-person engineering firm in Guatemala City. The people who scope your project are the ones who build it.

Snakebird is a three-person software engineering firm in Guatemala City, with over three decades of combined experience across low-code platforms, process automation, and infrastructure consulting.

Most of our work sits at the unglamorous end of the problem: legacy systems that still run the business, spreadsheets doing the job of software, processes nobody has questioned in a decade. We replace those with systems people can actually use, on infrastructure that won't need rebuilding in two years.

Every engagement starts the same way. We map how the work actually happens before proposing anything, and what comes out of that is usually smaller and more specific than clients expect to hear from a software firm.

Why Snakebird?

What you actually get when you hire us.

The four things that tend to matter most once a project is underway.

01

Built for your workflows

Nothing we build starts from a template. We start from how your team actually works: the paper forms, the shared spreadsheet, the step only one person knows how to do. The system fits that, and changes when it changes.

02

Measurable impact

Every project has a number attached before we start: hours saved per week, days cut from a month-end close, errors caught before they reach a customer. If we can't name that number with you, we say so early instead of building anyway.

03

Cloud-ready architecture

You shouldn't have to rebuild every few years. We design for the load you'll have in three years rather than the one in the demo, and keep the integration points documented so the next team, ours or yours, isn't reverse-engineering anything.

04

Long-term partners

Clients come back because the code holds up and we answer the phone. Most of our work now comes from companies we first built something for years ago, or from people they sent our way.

Built where the work happens

Snakebird is based in Guatemala City, not a satellite office: the actual team. Real engineers, in a real place, shipping real software for clients across the US and beyond.

Let's talk.

Fifteen minutes with an engineer, not a deck.
